Why did you create HooCard?

We realized that we were constantly changing, and that we needed cards that could change with us.

We've started numerous projects in various cities and countries around the globe. Often times these projects don't "require" stationary, but sometimes they do. We quickly discovered that the cards lasted a lot longer than the information on them. Company names, logos, emails, phone-numbers, office addresses, are all subject to change.

Ex: We moved offices. Suddenly we have 1500 paper-cards with outdated and faulty information on them.

Do we throw these cards out? Do we print new ones? When are we gonna move next? Do we leave our office address off the new cards? Are we ever gonna change our phone numbers? Should we leave phone numbers off the new cards? Whats the point of new cards then?

All these questions came up, and then we started thinking even deeper. We're a 3 person company, and its a pain and a waste for us. Imagine if we were a three thousand person company and we had to move offices. How many cards would be thrown out then? How many trees would be wasted?

Thats when we knew that we had to come up with a solution. Not just for us, but for everyone. A week later HooCard.com launched.
